Summary
Broaddus Construction is starting a new multifamily job with a repeat client in the Woodway area of Waco, Texas (76712). This 18-month job will be a garden style apartment complex with 204 units. In addition, this property will feature 9 total buildings: including a clubhouse, pool, pickleball courts, and a dog park.
We will be needing an Assistant Superintendent who is local to the Waco area or an Assistant Superintendent that would be willing to work on a per-diem to help us on this incredible upcoming project.
The Assistant Superintendent will help the on-site Superintendent manage portions of all field operations on a project to ensure that subcontracted trade work is in compliance with contract documents and the project schedule. The Assistant Superintendent will play a pivotal role in implementing and enforcing safety/quality control policies among Broaddus Construction employees and subcontractors.
Qualifications
· 3 years or more of construction field experience highly desired.
· Previous or current commercial or multifamily construction experience greater than $5M, very helpful for this role.
· Osha 30-hour certification preferred.
· CPR-First Aid Certification very helpful but not required.
· Intermediate knowledge in standard building and construction processes required.
· Basic knowledge of document control, scheduling, cost control and project management software (Procore) is needed.
· Above Average written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational skills.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
· Team-player with a good work ethic.
· Maintain regular attendance and punctuality relative to daily work schedule is required.
· Intermediate computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Access).
· Must be able to pass a background check.
· Valid driver’s license and must be able to meet company's driving requirements.
· Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without requiring future sponsorship for employment visa status.
