SENIOR GEOLOGIST / SENIOR ENGINEER
Broadbent & Associates, Inc. is looking to hire an organized, full-time, Senior Geologist / Senior Engineer to oversee a wide variety of complex, environmental projects for our Dallas Fort-Worth, Texas office. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SENIOR GEOLOGIST / SENIOR ENGINEER
As a senior-level professional, you are the driving force behind our business. Your hard work ensures that we deliver for our clients. Under the supervision of the Mid-America Division Manager, you will:
- Drive the Broadbent Strategic Plan for the Dallas Fort-Worth area
- Prepare and review work plans, technical documents, and detailed reports for federal, state, and local agencies
- Prepare and review new clientele proposals for federal, state, and private industry
- Develop the scope of environmental assessment and remediation projects from our diverse portfolio and manage budgets
- Conduct regular field visits to drive project execution and ensure that appropriate technical and health and safety procedures are being followed
- Review and approve vendor work proposals and invoices
- Assist with business development and company marketing efforts
Your people skills are essential as you interact regularly with clientele and regulatory agencies. Though you do spend a lot of time visiting job sites and interacting with people, you also complete various administrative responsibilities. Ensuring that clients are happy as well as that all jobs are delivered on time, within scope, and on-budget .
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in geology, environmental science, earth science, civil engineering, or environmental engineering.
- Professional Registration/Certification (P.G or P.E.)
- Seven or more years of experience in the consulting industry conducting and managing geological assessments, water supply, water treatment, environmental assessments, contaminant investigation, contaminant remediation, storm water management, wastewater treatment, permitting projects, or compliance projects in the public and private sectors
- Strong working knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations and experience interacting with governmental regulatory agencies
- Demonstrated ability to properly manage multiple projects concurrently while ensuring compliance with deliverable timelines
- Ability to travel within the western regional US

WORK SCHEDULE AND LOCATION
