Broadband of Indiana, LLC (BOI) is a telecommunication company. We install and maintain the lines and cables used by network communications companies. Currently, we are looking for a Groundhand/Laborer to work around Cleveland, TN and the surrounding area.
Responsibilities
- Pulling fiber cable.
- Hand digging.
- Rake, seed, & straw cable routes.
- Setting up safety perimeter using signage, cones, safety barriers.
- Flagging traffic when required.
- Establish all safety protocols on job sites.
Qualifications
- Previous work experience around existing utility a plus.
- Valid driver’s license with clear MVR.
- Able to lift/carry 50 lbs. regularly and up to 100 lbs. as needed with or without assistance.
- Ability to interact and communicate with co-workers in a clear & professional manor.
- Ability to set up & maintain safe work areas.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions.
This job position is in a field setting. All jobs will be performed in the surrounding areas of Cleveland, TN allowing the candidate to be home most evenings. When working in the field, weather conditions, such as extreme cold or heat, rain, snow, ice and wind should be expected.
Background check, pre-employment drug screening and MVR will be run on Candidate.
