We are looking for a hands-on Senior Video Test Engineer.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Work with a team of hands-on engineers on the design, development, troubleshooting and testing of hardware, firmware & software used in high-performance digital multimedia products.
- Test, verify & validate product hardware, firmware & software utilizing both manual and automated testing, as needed.
- Design and develop product and system test plans and test fixtures.
- Document and analyze test results. Also generate detailed test reports for both internal and external review.
- Create schedules and task breakdowns for all test activities and meet all required deadlines.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing and Sales teams on product release timelines and testing requirements.
- Oversee products through compliance testing and certification such as IEC 60601, etc.
- Generate and review technical content for documentation such as datasheets, user manuals, etc.
Experience/Qualifications
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent. (Masters is preferred)
- 5 years of hands-on experience in the testing of video hardware and systems.
- Solid working knowledge of video-specific test equipment such as quantumdata, PHABRIX, etc.
- Knowledgeable in high-speed video/audio/data transmission, digital video formats/specifications and products such as video analyzers, video scalers, video matrix switchers, video walls, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex video streaming problems.
- Ability to work in an engineering lab and competent with standard lab equipment including oscilloscopes, signal analyzers, signal generators, etc.
- Hands-on, demonstrable experience in Python programming.
- Solid working knowledge of IP network configuration and set up.
- Ability to accurately provide completion time estimates for a given set of test requirements.
- Detail-oriented team player with excellent documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to work with very little supervision, prioritize between multiple tasks, meet aggressive deadlines and work extended hours (as needed).
- Ability to analyze a multitude of technical issues and find effective, practical solutions quickly.
- Highly self-motivated for personal career growth.

Salary Range:
$90,000 - $120,000 annual
