What are the responsibilities and job description for the Exterior Cleaning Subcontractor position at Broad Run Exterior Co.?
About Broad Run Exterior Co.
Broad Run Exterior Co. is a professional exterior cleaning company serving homeowners in Gainesville, Haymarket, Bristow, Nokesville, and surrounding Western Prince William County. We handle all marketing, sales, scheduling, customer communication, and payment collection — so our subcontractors can focus on what they do best: the work. We generate the leads, book the jobs, and pay fast. You show up, deliver quality results, and we handle everything else.
What You'll Do
Broad Run Exterior Co. offers residential exterior cleaning across the following services. You don't need to be able to perform all of them — most of our subcontractors specialize in one or a few:
- House washing (softwash method)
- Driveway and concrete pressure washing
- Gutter cleaning
- Window cleaning (exterior)
- Roof softwashing (ground-applied only — no roof access, no high-pressure equipment)
Tell us which of these you're set up to do — we're building a bench of specialists, not looking for one person who does it all.
Jobs are dispatched through our scheduling platform with full job details provided in advance — address, scope, customer name, and any special notes. You'll submit before-and-after photos through our app upon completion.
What We're Looking For
- Commercial-grade equipment appropriate to the service(s) you provide, in good working order
- Demonstrated knowledge of chemical safety where applicable to your service(s): SH ratios, dwell times, surfactants, and surface compatibility
- Reliable transportation and ability to work independently in the field
- Strong communication — responds promptly, shows up on time, flags issues proactively
- Customer-facing professionalism — you represent our brand on every job
- Carries $1M general liability insurance, or is willing to obtain it, and to name Broad Run Exterior, LLC as an additional insured on your policy (required before first job)
What We Offer
- Consistent, steady job volume in the service(s) you specialize in — we handle all lead generation and sales so you never have to market yourself
- Paid per completed job, not by the clock — competitive per-job compensation, paid within 48 hours of job completion (well ahead of the industry standard of 2–4 weeks)
- Flexible schedule — you set your availability
Pay: $45.00 - $90.00 per hour
Benefits:
- Flexible schedule
