Broad Ripple Seafood Market is opening a second location called Broad Ripple Seafood North & Bar. We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Front of the House Manager to lead our hospitality team, Help us create and ensure an exceptional guest experience. This role goes beyond day -to-day management. We are looking for someone who can help build and establish the systems, routines, and service standard that create a sooth, consistent guest experience. In this vital role, you will oversee daily restaurant operations, manage staff, and uphold high standards of food service and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate understands how a restaurant flows from open to close and can create structure where needed, is passionate about hospitality, possesses strong management skills, and thrives in a fast-paced setting. Duties
- Supervise front-of-house staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management to ensure smooth daily operations
- Oversee customer service to deliver a memorable dining experience, resolving any issues promptly and professionally
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Coordinate food and beverage service, ensuring adherence to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Control inventory levels for front-of-house supplies, including bar stock, utensils, and linens, with attention to minimizing waste
- Oversee shift management by assigning duties effectively and ensuring operational efficiency during busy hours
- Conduct staff interviews, onboarding, ongoing training & development to foster a motivated team committed to excellence
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant management with a strong background in food service management and supervising teams
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking processes, and kitchen operations
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Clover, or Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest concerns diplomatically and effectively
- Strong leadership qualities with experience in staff training, development, and performance evaluation
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, food handling regulations, and health standards within the hospitality industry
- Ability to manage budgets, control costs, and implement inventory control measures effectively
- Experience working in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments is highly desirable
- Skilled in shift management, restaurant operations coordination, and supervising food production activities
