Broad Reach Healthcare is currently seeking a Nurse Unit Manager to join our team.

This is a full-time position.

In this role, you will receive a $12,000 SIGN-ON BONUS.

Responsibilities Include

• Oversee direct nursing care to patients on your38 bed half long term care, half sub-acute unit.
• Supervise day to day activities of Nurses and CNAs, planning and delegating assignments to unit nursing staff.
• Communicate clearly with all staff to assure continuity of care, updating nursing team and families with changes in patient condition.
• Respond to emergency situations.
• Collaborate in planning, teaching and evaluating staff development programs for the unit.
• Make daily rounds on unit to evaluate patient status and staff performance.
  
  

Requirements

• LPN Nursing Certificate or RN Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Long term care experience preferred
• Active license to practice as a Nurse in Massachusetts.
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Good communication and people skills.
  
  

The pay range for this position is between $48 to $60 per hour, based on years of experience and licensure.
