Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression
- Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize flow and guest satisfaction
- Answer phone inquiries with courteous professionalism, providing information about wait times or reservations
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting area
- Support servers and kitchen staff by communicating guest needs and special requests promptly
- Handle guest inquiries or concerns with positive attitude, ensuring excellent guest relations at all times
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Host/Host or in food service is highly preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Experience with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills are essential
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Hospitality or hotel experience can be advantageous but is not required
- Demonstrated ability to work well within a team and provide outstanding guest experiences
