What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chief Executive Officer position at Brixey & Meyer Capital?
About the Role
Brixey & Meyer Capital (BMC) is seeking a driven, high-energy Chief Executive Officer to lead a commercial food service equipment distribution and service business through its next phase of growth. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives on building — building revenue, building teams, and building a culture where people are accountable to each other and genuinely enjoy the work. The CEO will own the full P&L, drive the company's expansion across multiple states, and set the operational and cultural foundation for a service-based business built to scale.

Responsibilities
- Own the company's growth trajectory — drive top-line sales while building the operational backbone to support a multi-state footprint.
- Focus on growing a robust field-service operation within the business.
- Lead expansion planning, including the financial modeling, capital allocation, and asset acquisition required to enter and scale new markets.
- Build, hire, and develop the team needed to support growth.
- Set and reinforce a culture that is fun, high-energy, and rigorously accountable.
- Partner with BMC on strategy, capital planning, and long-term vision.
- Represent the company externally with customers, vendors, and potential acquisition targets.
- Move with pace — make sound decisions quickly and keep the organization moving forward.
Must-Have Qualifications
- High energy with a demonstrated ability to work with pace — a fast, decisive operator, not a slow-moving executive.
- Sales-oriented mindset — genuinely energized by driving revenue and growth, not just managing existing operations.
- Proven track record of successfully growing a business — real, verifiable results, not theory.
- Deep understanding of how to scale a multi-state operation, including the associated financials, asset acquisition, and hiring/organizational build-out.
- Based in Oklahoma City or close enough to be on-site regularly — this is not a remote role.
- A natural culture-builder who can create an environment that is both fun and highly accountable.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Inorganic growth experience — has led acquisitions and successfully integrated them into an existing business.
- Experience managing a full business end-to-end across Operations, Finance, HR, IT, and Sales.
- Private equity experience — has operated within or been backed by a PE ownership structure.
- Metric-oriented — skilled at aligning KPIs and measurables to business outcomes and success.
- Has successfully grown a service-oriented business, not just a product/transactional one.
- Industry experience within the commercial food service equipment space.
