About The Job

The Lowboy Driver is responsible for safely transporting heavy equipment and machinery to and from job sites using a lowboy trailer. This role requires skill in loading, securing, and unloading oversized loads while complying with all DOT regulations and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely transport heavy construction equipment to and from job sites using a lowboy trailer
  • Load, secure, and unload machinery in compliance with DOT and company safety standards
  • Inspect vehicles and equipment before and after transport to ensure proper working condition
  • Coordinate with dispatch, field crews, and site supervisors to ensure timely deliveries
  • Maintain accurate trip logs, permits, and transport documentation as required by law

Requirements

  • A minimum 2 years of experience driving trucks (transfer, and super solo are a plus!)
  • Class A CDL driver's license - Required
  • Ability to perform manual labor such as shoveling and raking.
  • Ability to work in a team setting
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including day, nights, and weekends
  • Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions
