What are the responsibilities and job description for the Equipment Prep Technician position at Brix Beverage?
Responsible for remanufacturing and repair on a variety of beverage dispensing equipment including equipment that is scheduled for make ready or remanufacturing
Essential Job Functions
➢ Provide preventative maintenance on beverage equipment at customer locations➢ Troubleshoot diagnose and fix machines➢ Refurbish equipment in the shop environment➢ Cleaning, minor repair, minor painting, setup and packaging of refrigeration units that are returned from customers to be repaired and sent back out into the trade➢ Accurately maintain and manage both equipment and parts issued in handheld or tablet device➢ General warehouse stocking and packaging ➢Unloading of equipment off of trucks➢ Cleaning and maintaining
Requirements
➢ Experience in a warehouse environment.➢ Maintaining a clean and organized workspace ➢Painting slight touch up of equipment or auto body detail or repair➢ Basic mechanical experience with hand and power tools➢ Basic knowledge of electrical refrigeration, beverage systems experience is a plus➢ Basic computer skills➢ Strong detail orientation , well organized, ability to listen well➢ Work well under pressure ➢ Organized, manages time well, can handle multiple tasks at one time➢
Required Education and Experience
➢ High school diploma➢ ➢ Forklift Certification ➢ Valid driver’s license
Physical Requirements
➢ Must be in good physical shape, able to lift minimum of 40 pounds without effort➢ Frequent and close visual work ➢ Constant sitting, standing, bending➢ Frequent walking or standing, using hand tools.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
