What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kitchen Helper position at Brittanys Brick oven Pizza?
Job Title: Kitchen Helper
Primary days of work will be as below;
Thursday: Lunch hours (approx. 10 AM to 4 PM)
Friday: all day with 1 hour lunch break (10:30 AM till 9:30 PM)
If needed, additional hours can be available.
What you’ll do
- Assist with meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients.
- Support the cooking staff in food preparation tasks, ensuring all ingredients are ready for service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces.
- Handle food safely and adhere to all food safety guidelines to ensure high-quality standards.
- Assist in serving meals during peak hours, ensuring timely delivery to guests.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during busy service times.
- Help with inventory management by restocking supplies and reporting any shortages.
Basic qualifications
