Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site General Manager role located in Myrtle Beach, SC. The General Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the assigned property, ensuring smooth management of all departments such as front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, homeowner relations, and maintenance. Responsibilities include achieving operational goals, enhancing owner/guest satisfaction, supervising budgets and financial performance, and fostering a culture of collaboration and professional development among the team. The General Manager will represent the values and mission of Brittain Resorts & Hotels to staff, guests, and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Leadership and management skills, including experience in overseeing team performance, implementing operational strategies, and driving team motivation.
- Hospitality industry expertise, with experience in guest services, front office, housekeeping, and food & beverage operations.
- Financial acumen and analytical skills to manage budgets, forecast revenue, and monitor operational efficiency.
- Sales and marketing experience with knowledge of revenue management strategies, direct booking enhancements, and effective promotional campaigns.
- Problem-solving, decision-making, and adaptability to lead in a fast-paced environment and ensure high-quality guest experiences.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with guests, staff members, and stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience managing a hotel or resort property; experience in upscale or luxury hospitality is a plus.
