Journeyman Electrician

What you will do…

• Troubleshooting and repairing various types of equipment/components such as PLC and DCS systems, AC and DC VFD’s, motor controls, lighting and distribution systems
• Conduct sequential tests to determine malfunctions, analyze operations of electrical equipment, or systems
• Utilize electrical test equipment such as, infrared, ultrasonic and data logging devices, as well as voltmeter, ammeter and ohmmeter
• Install and bend various types of conduits (EMT, Rigid, Aluminum)
• Setup and pull wire/cable & Terminate power, control, and instrumentation wire and cable
• Operate, maintain, and work near various power equipment, including, but not limited to, forklifts, man-lifts, excavators, drills, saws, hydraulic tools and automatic machinery
• Display exceptional customer service with clients and team members
• Work from various heights via platforms, scaffolds, ladders, or man-lifts
• Bend and stretch, lift, and move heavy objects many times across a shift
• Must be safety conscious
  
  

What you will need to succeed…

• 10 years of experience installing and maintaining electrical systems
• Must have knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code and OSHA safety standards
• Experience working directly with clients, exhibiting a high level of customer service and professionalism
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be organized, able to multi-task, work both independently, and be a team player.
• Ability to pass a Federal credentialling background check for work completed at government facilities

The base pay range for this position is $34.00 to $38.00 per hour. Please note that the compensation range reflects the base pay only and does not include benefits or bonuses this role may be eligible to receive. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by bona fide factors such as geographic work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
