About The Tire Tech Role:

Tire Tech will install and maintain tires and wheels; repairing, rotating, and inflating tires; attaching and rebalancing wheels; installing/rebuilding and/or relearning/calibrating TPMS; washing tires and wheels; using and maintenance of equipment; assisting other employees; test driving vehicles; and operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services. Provides excellent customer service, promotes tire sales and engages customers, repairs and replaces tires as requested by customers and maximizes shop profitability by controlling expenses, protecting company assets, and by ensuring that our tire shop standards and processes for customer care, merchandising and operations are consistent and well-executed.

Tire Technician Key Responsibilities:

• Install, rotate, repair, and balance commercial and on heavy duty diesel vehicles
• Inspect, calibrate, and relearn TPMS systems
• Operate and maintain shop equipment
• Drive service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road service
• Deliver excellent customer service and promote tire sales
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Track and manage tire inventory
• Test drive vehicles and complete related paperwork
• Comply with OSHA, safety, and environmental standards
  
  

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of tire experience preferred (willing to train the right candidate)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Computer literate
• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
• Able to lift 50 lbs and perform physical work (bending, stooping, kneeling)
• Must be TIA Certified (Tire Industry Association)

• Tire shop environment with occasional outdoor and remote service work
• Exposure to noise, weather, fumes, and moving equipment
• May include extended or irregular hours during peak seasons
