Paint Technician: Full time position responsible for all aspects of the vehicle refinish process in a high production shop with two locations. Daily responsibilities will include inspection, testing and mixing of automotive paint colors, Sanding, masking, priming and preparation of automobiles for the paint process, painting of automobile parts, panels or bodies and controlling of material cost. A skilled paint technician with years in the trade needed. Must be able to maintain high quality product at high production pace. Must be able to maintain an organized workplace while dealing with situations in a quick matter.
Daily Responsibilities but not limited to:
- Inspection, selection, testing and mixing of automotive Paint Colors
- Sanding, Masking, priming and Preparation of Automobiles for Paint Process
- Paining of Automobile parts, panels and bodies
- Inspection and removal of paint defects from end product
- Management and Cost Control of Paint Material Supply and Use
- Maintaining a Clean Spray Booth, Prep Area and Mixing Room.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
