Position Overview:
We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Deck Ambassador to join our team. The Deck Ambassador serves as the first point of contact for families, ensuring excellent communication, organization, and customer care. This role is a combination of front-desk reception, customer service, and deck supervision to make sure families feel welcomed, informed, and supported.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet families warmly and provide outstanding customer service.
- Assist parents with check-in/check-out and scheduling swim lessons.
- Answer phones, emails, and inquiries in a professional manner.
- Support instructors on deck by helping organize classes and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment both at the front desk and around the pool deck.
- Communicate effectively with parents about swimmer progress and program details.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as processing payments, updating records, and scheduling.
Qualifications:
- Previous reception or front-desk experience (required).
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working in a warm, humid pool deck environment.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Lifeguard certification.
Schedule & Compensation:
- Part-time and/or full-time opportunities available.
