Pay:
This is an hourly position with wages starting at $17.50 per hour and paying up to $22 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. All required training and certifications are provided at no cost to the employee.

The Position:
The Aquatics Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the aquatics program and customer service interactions. Priorities include ensuring that the British Swim School program is delivered according to brand and safety standards, managing and training the instructor team, overseeing lesson quality, and maintaining a positive experience for customers and staff. This position also involves tracking certifications, ensuring compliance, supporting staff development, and teaching lessons when needed.
Your Typical Responsibilities:
- Interview, hire, onboard, and manage employees to ensure smooth execution of daily aquatics operations.
- Create and manage staff and pool lesson schedules.
- Address and document employee, customer, and pool incidents as they occur.
- Teach and lead swim lessons as needed.
- Maintain records of certifications, training, and employee performance.
Must-Haves:
- Must be at least 21 years old, possess a valid driver’s license, and hold a high school diploma or GED.
- High energy and enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Comfortable working with students of all ages and skill levels.
- Personal, reliable transportation to travel between pool locations in Crestwood, IL and Hobart, IN as needed.
- Availability on weekday evenings and Sundays.
- Previous management or supervisory experience.
- Current Lifeguard certification (or ability to obtain prior to start date).
- Prior experience with swim instruction and a passion for teaching water safety.
Preferred Qualifications (Pluses):
- Experience working with students with special needs.
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification.
- CPR and First Aid certification (may be obtained during training).
- 1 years of customer service and/or aquatics management experience.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
