Overview
Seeking a temporary, part-time Family Assistant for an international family spending a few weeks in La Jolla, CA. The role will start around 10th July and finish towards the end of August/early September. The principals are flexible around the schedule, and are happy to offer up to 6hrs per day, 5 days per week, but are also open to few hours if preferred. Candidates MUST be local to the area, as accommodation isn't offered.
Responsibilities
- Preparing the house before arrival
- Stocking the house
- Grocery shopping and running errands for the family
- Coordinating deliveries
- Organizing vendors
- Assisting with bookings and reservations
- All-round, flexible support
- Occasional childcare support
- Helping with tidying and general organization
Requirements
- Knowledge of nutrition, healthy eating, and high-quality local food suppliers would be a strong advantage
- Some previous childcare experience, if possible
- Organised and tidy
- Able to protect the family's privacy and maintain discretion and a professional approach at all times
- Cheerful and friendly personality
- Flexible and adaptable, able to read the room and the remain a step ahead of the family
- Very familiar with the local area, able to advise the family as appropriate on locations, vendors, shops etc
