Overview
A family is seeking an experienced Part-Time Housekeeper to help maintain their home to a consistently high standard.
This is a housekeeping-focused position for someone who genuinely enjoys creating an organized, clean, and welcoming home environment. The family employs a full-time nanny who is responsible for childcare and baby-related tasks, allowing the Housekeeper to focus on deep cleaning, laundry, organization, and the overall upkeep of the residence.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, trustworthy, and takes pride in their work. They enjoy maintaining beautiful spaces, work well independently, and collaborate professionally with a hands-on family and other household staff.
The schedule is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for approximately 7–8 hours per day, guaranteeing 21–24 hours per week. Start time will be 10 AM.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning and weekly maintenance of the residence.
- Dust, vacuum, mop, and care for all household surfaces and finishes.
- Maintain kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and common living areas to a high standard.
- Manage adult laundry, including washing, folding, ironing, and changing bed linens.
- Coordinate dry cleaning drop-off and pick-up as needed.
- Organize closets, cabinets, pantries, and storage spaces.
- Water indoor plants and maintain general household organization.
- Monitor household supplies and notify the family when items need replenishing.
- Work collaboratively with the family's nanny while maintaining a professional, team-oriented approach.
Qualifications
- 5 years of professional housekeeping experience in a private home.
- Experience caring for luxury finishes, furnishings, and household materials.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Professional, dependable, and respectful of household privacy.
- Experience working in homes with young children is preferred.
Requirements
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Comfortable working in a home with an infant and a friendly small dog.

- Willing to be employed on a W-2 through formal payroll.
