Overview
A private household in Brooklyn is seeking an exceptional full-time chef starting in January 2026. The candidate will be responsible for preparing breakfast snacks (to be set aside/ refrigerated the night before), lunch from 12 noon (plated and set aside), and dinner between 5 pm and 6:30 pm (served). The schedule will be Monday through Friday, and candidates will cater to 2 adults daily.Responsibilities
- Demonstrated focus on health-conscious, refined, and creative cuisine, with extensive experience sourcing premium organic ingredients
- Responsible for maintaining an orderly and well-organized refrigerator, freezer, and pantry area; monitoring inventory; and conducting strategic grocery shopping to ensure efficiency and minimize waste
- Ensuring the kitchen is thoroughly cleaned and reset at the conclusion of each workday
- Ability to perform duties with composure, professionalism, and a high level of organizational skill
Qualifications
- Background in wellness and clean eating is strongly preferred
- A minimum of eight (8) years of verifiable experience within a private household setting
- Strong commitment to utilizing healthy, fresh, organic, and seasonal ingredients

Salary and Benefits
- Annual compensation of ~$150,000
