Overview
A lovely mature couple in the Clearwater area of Tampa, FL is seeking a part-time housekeeper for their home to start as soon as a great fit is found. The schedule will be Monday through Friday, starting out as 12-6pm, though there is flexibility on start time and the schedule may shift slightly over time, with notice. This is a live-out position and candidates must already be local to the area. Ideally the candidate to hire will be open to a full-time live-in position when the couple moves to a bigger home in approximately 2 years.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities will include maintenance and deep cleaning of a 4,000 square-foot home. Additional duties include:
- Laundry and ironing
- Occasional errands such as grocery shopping, going to the post office/FedEx, Target etc., going to the principal’s office or rental property to drop of documents and pickup mail
- Light food prep: washing, cutting and preparing fruits, vegetables, and meats. Breakfast prep and an interest to learn and prepare recipes would be nice to have.
- Organizing cabinets, closets, and storage areas as needed
- Maintain inventory of household supplies
- Packing and unpacking for trips
- Taking out trash/recycling as needed
- Empty/run the dishwasher if needed.
- Event prep: assisting with hosting for dinner parties including decor, prep and cleanup and managing catering and additional event staff

Requirements
- Valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and own reliable transportation to and from work
- Must already be living in the Tampa area
- 5 years of experience in a similar role
- An excellent understanding of the English language both verbal and written
- Dog friendly in case the principals bring in a disability support dog in a couple of years
Salary and Benefits
$30-40 per hour plus standard benefits such as paid time off and sick days.
