Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Toddler Child Care Teacher to join our team. Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote literacy education, math skills, and overall cognitive development.
- Utilize methods to create an interactive learning environment that encourages exploration and independence.
- Manage classroom activities effectively to maintain a positive and productive atmosphere.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Assess children's development through standardized testing and observations to tailor educational approaches.
- Provide support for children with special education needs, adapting lessons as necessary to meet individual requirements.
- Foster social skills through group activities and collaborative learning experiences.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required. Willing to work towards Associates degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is required.
- Experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred
- Strong knowledge of classroom management techniques and early childhood development principles.
- Familiarity with literacy education strategies and math concepts for young learners.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also demonstrating initiative in lesson planning and execution.
