Job Overview
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team. We are offering part-time hours only - approx. 10 - 15hr. per week. Must be able to work on Saturday afternoons and be available to help cover other shifts or assist coworkers as needed. Our counter services are 8am - 6pm/ 7 days a week. We are closed New Year's Day, Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
The ideal candidate will be responsible processing Wash Dry Fold orders: laundering with care all machine-washable material and folding with high standards. Responsibilities also include maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our laundry center contributing to an exceptional experience for all our customers.
Responsibilities
- Operate washing machines and dryers to launder customer clothing.
- Sort, pre-treat stains, wash, dry, fold, and store clean laundry items efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness of laundry equipment and center to ensure a safe environment.
- Must enjoy working with general public and helping coworkers.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while handling cleaning products.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to customer requests regarding laundry services and assistance with our equipment.
- Able to lift over 20lbs. consistently. Very active, physical position.
Skills
- Strong attention to detail, follows instructions & communicates effectively.
- Enjoys cleaning and processing laundry.
- Previous experience working with general public is preferred but not required.
- Able to handle distractions, multi-task, and work hard.
- Willingness to assist anyone who needs help. The center serves about 1,000 customers a week.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members professionally.
