Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting eyewear that meets their needs anequipment and documenting patient information accurately.
- Educate patients on lens options, frame styles, and proper eyewear care using clear medical terminology.
- Assist with laboratory tasks such as lens fitting, measurements, and basic adjustments to ensure optimal fit and comfort.
- Maintain patient confidentiality by adhering to HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) policies and clinical confidentiality protocols.
- Assist with inventory management of optical supplies, ensuring proper stock levels and organization.
- Experience or familiarity with retail sales environments, including retail math and customer service excellence.
- Basic medical coding skills relevant to ophthalmic services are advantageous.
