The Division of General Internal Medicine at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School is seeking a dedicated Outpatient Primary Care Physician to join our team of faculty committed to excellence in patient care, education, and research.
Summary
Primary Care Outpatient faculty physician, which includes but not limited to Office Visits and Consultations, Supervision and Teaching of Medical Students, Residents, attend appropriate Medical School and Departmental Committees.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
The anticipated salary range for this position is $247,027- $268,473 per year.
The final salary offer may be determined by several factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and expertise, and availability of department or grant funds to support the position. We also take into consideration market benchmarks, if and when appropriate, and internal equity to ensure fair compensation relative to the university’s broader compensation structure. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Outpatient care in the General Internal Medicine practice. This will include seeing patients in the Clinical Academic Building (CAB) practice, as well as outpatient satellite locations of the Division, possibly including the Executive Health Program
- Complete all charting and billing in a timely manner
- Participate in education and training of Medical Students, Residents and all academic and clinical activities of the division as assigned by the Division Chief.
- Participate in clinical research as opportunities as available
- Participate in appropriate Department of Medicine and Medical School committees.
- Attend Division and Department meetings including but not limited to faculty meetings, Grand Rounds and Resident recruitment sessions
- Other duties as assigned by the Division Chief and/or Department Chairman.
- Must be Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Board eligible.
