We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher/Food Prepindividual to join our dynamic kitchen team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen while assisting with food preparation tasks. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and hospitality, with experience in various kitchen environments such as restaurants, hotels, or catering services.
Duties
- Efficiently wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment to ensure a clean and sanitary kitchen environment.
- Assist in food preparation tasks including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients for various dishes.
- Support the cooking staff by preparing ingredients for banquet events and other service needs.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas by regularly cleaning surfaces, floors, and equipment.
- Help with bussing tables during busy service periods to ensure a smooth workflow.
- Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to ensure the highest standards of hygiene are met.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred; restaurant or hotel experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of food handling and safety practices is essential.
