Since opening our first market in Rolling Hills, CA, Bristol Farms has brought people together around a love for cooking and sharing delicious food. We have worked to create a community of curious foodies - people who enjoyed exploring the aisles and discovering new and exciting ingredients. We know that in order to achieve this goal, we must provide the freshest, highest-quality, locally sourced meat, seafood and produce, compliment it with an awesome array of groceries in each aisle and create an extraordinary experience for each and every guest.

Ingredients You'll Bring to the Table

• Illustrate chalkboards, maintain and produce signage for all departments.
• Maintain visual quality and consistency throughout the location.
• Walk entire store daily to check quality and appearance of signs. Replace as needed.
• Maintain adequate inventory of necessary supplies and equipment.
• Assure all sign pricing and language is accurate at all times.
• Follow safety work standard and report any safety hazards to supervisor and/or Store Director.
• Follow the employee handbook at all times, especially on service standards and appearance.

Expectations:

• Previous experience as a sign maker or assistant sign maker preferred.
• Strong hand lettering, calligraphy/fonts illustration and graphic design skills preferred.
• Good problem solving skills, and ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Superior spelling skills and ability to perform simple math operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Ability to deliver information in a clear and respectable manner to fellow co-workers, customers and vendors.
• Ability to complete all tasks in a through and timely manner.
