Responsibilities
- Perform painting and refinishing.
- Prepare surfaces through patching, caulking, sanding, cleaning, and other repairs.
- Paint walls, doors, ceilings, trim, cabinets, furniture, and other facility surfaces.
- Apply finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
- Protect floors, furniture, equipment, and surrounding areas during projects.
- Complete touch-ups and maintain consistent, high-quality finishes.
- Follow safety and workplace procedures.
- Maintain tools and keep work areas clean and organized.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous commercial, industrial, or institutional painting experience.
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Some assignments may require lifting up to 50 pounds and bending, stooping, twisting, and reaching.
