Bristol is a rapidly growing Management Support Services company with concentration in the healthcare markets and is currently seeking a dynamic Mental Health Supervisor that has the skill set and experience to perform the following:
Role
The role of the Supervisor will oversee and manage Mental Health Technicians.
Essential Duties
- Ensure all Mental Health Technicians are complying with program policies and procedures.
- Complete and manage MHT schedules.
- Ensure daily schedule and program structure is being followed by MHTs
- Assign daily/shift tasks for MHTs and ensure the compliance of these tasks.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings regarding residents with Therapists, Psychiatrist, Nurses, and Managers
- Train new MHTs on program procedures, structure and paperwork.
- Conduct QA/QI of MHT documentation
- Conduct shift and monthly meetings with MHTs
- Ability to implement change
- Provide in-service trainings as needs arise
- Demonstrate skills in the areas of leadership and relationship building with MHTs.
- Supervise daily routines and responsibilities clients and ensure performance of daily self-care tasks assisting when necessary.
- Ensure a safe and secure environment for residents.
- Utilize Verbal Interventions to ensure the safety of all clients
- Communicate all relevant resident information obtained by daily Supervision to appropriate treatment team members in a timely basis.
- Understand and comply with all laws, regulations, and ethical practices.
