The Front Counter Warehouse Technician is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations while serving as the primary point of contact at the front counter. This role requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, remote North Slope environment.

Essential Duties & Job Functions:

- Provide front counter support to employees, vendors, and clients in a professional and courteous manner
- Issue, receive, and track materials, tools, and equipment
- Maintain accurate inventory records using company systems
- Assist with shipping and receiving, including inspecting incoming materials for accuracy and damage
- Organize and maintain warehouse stock, ensuring cleanliness and order
- Coordinate material requests and fulfill work orders in a timely manner
- Communicate effectively with field personnel and procurement teams
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory audits
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (as required)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

- Basic computer skills, including inventory management systems and Microsoft Office

Required Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver license
- NSTC card
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous North Slope experience strongly preferred
- Experience working at a front counter or in a customer-facing warehouse role
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain)
- Familiarity with oil & gas industry materials and operations
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works on-site at the construction site where the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts; high precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock. The noise in these work environments is usually moderate to very loud.
Position may involve exposure to extremely hostile weather conditions at times while working outdoors. This position may involve working with potentially hazardous materials and waste.

A pre-hire post offer Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE) will be conducted to determine an employee's ability to perform to the job standard. FCE LEVEL #3
- MOBILITY: Must be able to access all controls and all parts of machinery for service. Must be able to push/pull 50 pounds for 20 feet.
- LIFTING: Must be able to routinely lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist, 50 pounds from wait level to shoulder height and carry 50 pounds for 20 feet.
- HEARING: Must be able to hear audible safety alarms.
- VISUAL ACUITY: Must be adequate to perform above listed tasks in a safe manner and take hand signals from ground man or flag man.
- RANGE OF MOTION: An objective range of motion measurements will be conducted and recorded using a five position and rapid exchange grip strength test during the pre-hire/post offer FCE.
