We’re looking for a motivated Mechanical Engineering Intern to assist with the design, analysis, and documentation of mechanical systems for a variety of building projects. This role is ideal for someone with a basic understanding of mechanical engineering principles who is eager to learn and contribute in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

Work is performed in a mix of office and field environments. Office work involves extended computer use. Fieldwork may include exposure to weather conditions, uneven terrain, and construction site environments, including noise, dust, and other typical site conditions.

- Assist with the design and basic analysis of mechanical systems using industry-standard tools
- Support the development of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems for commercial and institutional projects
- Help prepare calculations, drawings, and specifications under the guidance of senior engineers
- Use Revit and other BIM tools to assist in developing coordinated designs
- Participate in occasional site visits and help document observations
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and team members to support project goals and code compliance
- Assist in reviewing project documents for accuracy and completeness
- Communicate with team members to help meet project deadlines
- Provide support for proposals, project scopes, and technical tasks as needed

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- EIT certification is a plus but not required
- Internship or academic project experience in mechanical systems preferred
- Basic familiarity with Revit or similar design software
- Understanding of HVAC and mechanical system fundamentals
- Familiarity with industry codes (ASHRAE, IMC, IPC) is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
