It includes developing and maintaining GIS databases and datasets, integrating sources such as drone imagery, lidar, and high-precision GPS/GNSS data, and coordinating with project managers to ensure accurate and timely geospatial outputs.

As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening (post accepted offer) and have acceptable background check results. If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain the appropriate clearance levels required and be able to obtain access to military installations.

Outdoor settings include walking, driving, and carrying supplies throughout all seasons with exposure to heat and cold conditions, and potentially wildlife. Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals and loud noise.

- Perform advanced analysis on spatial and tabular datasets to support project decision-making and reporting
- Create professional cartographic products, figures, and interactive web-based maps for reports, presentations, and briefings
- Support project managers by identifying data needs, project requirements, and required outputs for assigned tasks
- Develop and maintain datasets using digitizing techniques, imagery interpretation, and integration of various geospatial sources
- Design, create, and maintain GIS databases
- Collect, process, and analyze mapping-grade to high-precision GPS/GNSS data, including detailed feature class attribution
- Integrate drone imagery, lidar, and other high-resolution geospatial datasets into GIS workflows

- Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of professional GIS experience, including advanced spatial analysis and use of ESRI tools
- Proficiency with ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online, including developing and publishing interactive web maps and applications
- Experience working with GPS/GNSS data and integrating field-collected data into ESRI platforms
- Strong understanding of GIS concepts, including spatial data structures, coordinate systems, datums, map projections, automated mapping, and spatial information-processing methods
- Experience with database management, data analysis, and technical troubleshooting within a geospatial environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
