CHAP Assistant Manager

Position: CHAP Assistant Manager

Purpose of the Job: Provide leadership and administrative support for the Community Health Aide/Practitioner Program. Surveys villages and clinics for compliance with daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly quality checks. Provides daily administrative support to the CHA/Ps in the region. Provides advice to CHAP management regarding conduct of village clinic business and of CHA/Ps. Maintain CHAP data bases as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Ability to travel to clinics when necessary.
• Ability to travel to village clinics biannually for site visits that may last several days.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail required.
• Ability to follow directions and multitask is essential.
• Previous supervisory experience and strong supervisory skills required.
• Familiarity woth the electronic health record and eCHAM iCHAM preferred.
• Negative drug screen.

Essential Functions:

• Adheres and enforces BBAHC and CHAP policies and procedures.
• Maintains confidentiality concerning corporate business and finances, employee relations, and patient information.
• Acts as a liaison for patients for CHA/Ps with problems or questions.
• Maintains CHAP essential data base for compliance and quality control.
• Monitors CLIA training and CLIA logs.
• Compiles the monthly village council report and reviews for content.
• Assists CHA/P in the ordering, and maintenance of supplies, and equipment.
• Reviews monthly clinic supply orders.
• Reviews expirations and ensures that the clinics pull the expired supplies from stock.
• Reviews weekly incomplete charts from HIMS, determines nature of incomplete and contacts the Health Aide.
• Approves Health Aide absence requests and ensures clinic coverage.
• Participates in data collection for Population Management.
• Follows up with the villages ensuring that the orders on the spreadsheet are fulfilled.
