Piano Teacher (Part-Time)

Bristol Academy of Music is seeking a passionate, dependable, and engaging Piano Teacher to join our growing music community. The ideal candidate loves working with students of all ages, fosters a positive and encouraging learning environment, and is committed to helping students develop both skill and confidence at the piano.
At Bristol Academy of Music, we value strong fundamentals, creativity, and building confident musicians. You’ll teach weekly private lessons, tailor instruction to each student, and help prepare students for recitals and performances — all in a supportive, positive environment.
What we’re looking for:
- Strong piano and music theory skills
- Experience teaching children and/or teens (preferred)
- Warm, encouraging personality
- Dependable and organized
What we do for you:
- Scheduling- no need for back and forth with families. We take care of scheduling!
- Lesson materials- we provide lesson materials for the students, so all you have to do is show up and teach!
- Billing and payroll- we take care of billing, so you can avoid those awkward conversations when payments are late, insuring you receive a reliable paycheck!
Pay is based on previous experience and credentials. Bachelor's degree in music or equivalent experience is preferred but not required. The academy is open for lessons during afterschool hours from 3-7pm on weekdays.
