We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, with the ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain various HVAC equipment. This role requires a hands-on approach and the capability to work independently as well as part of a team. The HVAC Technician will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance and efficiency of HVAC systems in both residential and commercial settings.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
- Diagnose issues with HVAC systems using schematics and technical manuals.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Utilize tools such as Ohmmeters to test electrical components and ensure proper functionality.
- Weld components as necessary for repairs or installations.
- Plumb new installations or modifications to existing systems.
- Provide exceptional customer service while communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs.
- Keep accurate records of service performed and parts used for each job.
Experience
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role in the field.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret schematics.
- Familiarity with various HVAC systems including air conditioning units, furnaces, heat pumps, etc.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment related to HVAC maintenance.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to HVAC installation and repair work.
- Certification in HVAC or relevant technical training is preferred but not required.
