Duties
- Take and accurately process food and beverage orders using POS systems such Touch Bistro, ensuring timely delivery to guests
- Serve drinks and meals with professionalism, enthusiasm, and a focus on guest satisfaction in both fine dining and casual settings
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas, adhering to food safety and food handling standards
- Manage cash handling responsibilities including cashiering, processing payments, and providing correct change with precision using retail math skills
- Engage with guests to promote menu items, upsell beverages or specials, and enhance their overall experience through excellent customer service
- Assist with setup and breakdown for events such as banquets or catering functions, ensuring smooth operations from start to finish
- Monitor guest needs throughout their visit, respond promptly to requests, and foster a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred
- Strong basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in busy environments while multitasking efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures to ensure guest safety
- Excellent communication skills with an energetic approach to serving customers in various settings including nightclubs or banquet events
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Experience with brewing or hospitality-related roles is advantageous but not required
