Job Summary
Mobile Phlebotomist
The Mobile Phlebotomist reports to the Phlebotomist Manager and is responsible for performing services for our clients at their facilities and returning collected specimen to our main laboratory in North Las Vegas, NV. The Mobile Phlebotomist performs blood draws and nasal swabs for COVID-19 testing from sites in Nevada.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Performshigh volume drawing (50 per day) in an environment where the sole responsibility is to draw patients back-to-back.
- Performs nasal swabs for COVID-19 testing.
- Collectsand transportsspecimensfrom patients and facilitiestolaboratoryfor immediate processing.
- Performs proper specimen collection and labeling procedures.
- Responsible for entering patient information data.
- Maintainsclean and healthy work environments.
- Maintainsa highlevelof customer service at laboratory and client locations.
- Mayassistwith training, coaching, and the development of coworkers and students.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Must take all assigned Human Resourcestrainingsand leadership classes.
- Responsible for attending all department and staff meetings.
Education and Experience
- Highschool Diploma or GED.
- Nevada Lab Assistant License,required.
- NHA Licenserequired.
- Previousexperience in behavioral healthcare setting with knowledge of patient population served by the facility, preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
- Record maintenance skills.
- Ability to work independently and remotely.
- Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures.
- Ability to prepare and print routine correspondence, labels, and/or other basic written material.
- Word processing and/or data entry skills.
- Skill in the use of operating basic office equipment.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting ata desk and working on a computer.
- Prolonged periods of standing while providing services to patients.
- Prolonged periods of driving in a vehicle.
- Must be able tolift upto25poundsandsit/standforlong periodsof time.
