- Perform in-process and final inspections of components and assemblies to verify conformance to specifications.
- Utilize Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to conduct precise measurements and inspections.
- Create, edit, and maintain CMM programs to support production and quality control activities.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards, participating in internal and external audits.
- Document and report inspection results, identifying and addressing non-conformances.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing processes.Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality inspection, with hands-on CMM programming expertise.
- Proficient in using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Strong understanding of ISO 9001 quality management systems.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and materials.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Preferred Skills:
- Experience with PC-DMIS or Calypso software.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
