Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of food and beverages with attention to quality and presentation
- Operate POS system for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders efficiently, and upselling menu items to enhance their experience
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all food prep areas, dining spaces, and equipment to ensure food safety compliance
- Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and restocking supplies to keep the café running smoothly during busy hours
- Manage time effectively to handle high-volume periods while maintaining accuracy in transactions and order fulfillment
- Follow all food safety protocols, sanitation procedures, and health regulations to uphold our commitment to quality
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, food service restaurant environments
- Familiarity with POS for efficient cashiering and sales transactions
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
