PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Arrive on time and prepared for therapy sessions (all materials, technology, etc.)
- Work collaboratively with patient(s) families and outside providers
- Work collaboratively with BCBA supervisor to implement basic principles and teaching procedures of the science of ABA
- Collect problem behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions
- Be responsive to the needs and requests of patients, their families, and supervisors
- Be goal-oriented and maintain professionalism in all aspects of your work
- Sessions must be completed with a note and signature within 24 hours of session
- All communication must be HIPPA compliant
- Must be responsive to communications from the Company
- Must follow policies and protocols set forth by the Company
REQUIREMENTS
- At least 21 years of age
- Minimum education – High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Pass a state and federal criminal background check
- At least 1 year experience providing ABA to children/adolescents (in-home setting preferred)
- Ability to demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read and follow through with individualized behavior plan and treatment plan designed and prescribed by supervising BCBA
- Creative, engaging, and dependable individual with a passion for working with neurodiverse populations, especially children.
- Reliable transportation is required
- Current RBT credential in good standing with the BACB
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Requires: kneeling, sitting on floor, getting up quickly from floor, crawling, and fine motor skills
WORK SCHEDULE
- Sessions are planned based on patient availability. Mornings (currently 8a-12p but there is flexibility) and early afternoons may be encompassed in this schedule for make-up sessions. Employee availability is discussed during the initial interview, so it is important to be as transparent as possible as well as any changes set to occur within the first 90 days.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 35 per week
