First Grade Teacher

Overview
Brilliant Minds Christian Academy of Technology is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and faith filled First Grade Teacher to join our Christian learning community. The ideal candidate will nurture students academically, spiritually, socially, and emotionally in a Christ-centered environment. The teacher will provide engaging instruction that supports students’ love for learning while integrating Biblical principles throughout the curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a positive, Christ-centered classroom environment where students feel loved, valued, and encouraged to grow.
• Plan and implement engaging daily lessons aligned with school curriculum and academic standards.
• IntegrateBiblical truths and Christian values into lessons and classroom discussions.
• Foster academic excellence in reading, writing, math, science, and social studies through creative and differentiated instruction.
• Assess student progress regularly and communicate results to parents in a timely and professional manner.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support the school’s mission and enhance student learning experiences.
• Manage classroom behavior with patience, love, and consistency, modeling Christ-like character at all times.
• Participate in school activities, chapel services, and events that promote school community and spiritual growth.
• Maintain accurate attendance, grades, and documentation as required.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, keeping them informed about classroom activities and student progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or a related field (preferred).
• Valid teaching certification or equivalent experience preferred.
• Prior classroom teaching experience, preferably in a private or Christian school setting.
• Strong understanding of child development and early elementary learning standards.
• Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills.
• A heart for ministry, service, and guiding young children in both academics and Christian character.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $36,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
