Job Description:
We are seeking a Database Administrator with expertise in AWS, Databricks, SQL Server, and modern cloud data platforms to support enterprise databases and data mesh architecture.
Required Skills:
- 6 years of Database Administration experience
- Amazon RDS, AWS DMS, SQL Server
- Databricks Unity Catalog (Metastores, Catalogs, Schemas)
- Starburst/Trino query federation
- Data Mesh architecture & Delta Lake
- Cloud Storage (S3, ADLS) and Hybrid Data Platforms
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation)
- IAM, Disaster Recovery, Performance Tuning, Backup & Recovery
- REST APIs and Database Automation
Responsibilities:
- Administer and optimize enterprise databases and cloud data platforms
- Manage Databricks Unity Catalog, Starburst, and data federation
- Configure AWS RDS, DMS, storage gateways, and cloud-native storage
- Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement HA/DR solutions
- Automate database provisioning, migrations, and governance using Terraform and cloud services
- Collaborate with data engineering and governance teams to support Data Mesh initiatives
Salary : $100 - $110
