Job Summary:
We are seeking a Backend AI Engineer to design and build scalable AI/ML and Generative AI systems. This role focuses on developing APIs, backend services, and MLOps pipelines using Python, AWS, and modern data platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop REST/GraphQL APIs and backend services for AI/ML applications
- Build and support LLM-based systems (RAG, document processing, knowledge bases)
- Integrate AWS AI services (SageMaker, Bedrock, Lambda, API Gateway)
- Implement MLOps pipelines, model deployment, and monitoring
- Design scalable, event-driven architectures and optimize performance
Required Skills:
- 4 years of backend development experience
- Strong Python (FastAPI, Flask, or Django)
- Experience with LLMs, RAG architectures, and AI service integration
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services
- Experience with APIs, microservices, and event-driven systems
Preferred:
- Experience with Databricks, PySpark, Docker, CI/CD
- Knowledge of vector databases and MLOps tools
