Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist

Brilliant Financial Staffing has been engaged in a search for an Accounts Payable Specialist with our client located in Des Plaines, IL. Our client recently had an individual within their department relocate which has now caused a vacancy on their AP team. They are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team on an open-ended temporary basis for a minimum of 3-4 months. The Accounts Payable Specialist will be working directly alongside another individual in the department and be responsible for entering & processing AP invoices. This is an immediate need so the ideal Accounts Payable Specialist would be able to start ASAP.
Accounts Payable Specialist Responsibilities:
- Track and monitor AP email inbox
- Enter, process, and code invoices
- Perform vendor reconciliations
- Assist with weekly check run
- Identify AP invoice discrepancies
Qualifications:
- 3 years’ of recent experience in full cycle AP processing
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
