Job Overview

Brilliant Equipment Services is seeking a dependable, hands-on Metal Enclosure Reconditioning Technician to join our production team. In this role, you will restore and refinish electrical equipment enclosures to prepare them for resale, ensuring each unit meets our quality and visual standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Sand, grind, and prepare metal enclosures for refinishing
• Remove rust, adhesives, residue, and surface imperfections
• Clean and degrease surfaces prior to coating
• Apply primer and industrial coatings/paint
• Mask and protect components during painting
• Inspect finished products for quality and consistency
• Maintain tools, paint equipment, and work area
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial painting, auto body, fabrication, or similar work preferred
• Ability to operate forklift and pallet jack
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to stand and perform physical work throughout the day
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• 40 hours per week
• Overtime available based on production needs
