Brilliance LED, LLC has manufactured LED lighting products for outdoor spaces since 2008, serving commercial and residential markets across LED lamps, landscape fixtures, power sources, smart products and controls. Role Summary
The Manufacturing Lead oversees day-to-day production line operations, leading a team of production associates to meet output, quality and safety goals. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines shop-floor supervision with a strong technical grasp of manufacturing systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, schedule and coach a team of production line employees, assigning daily tasks and monitoring performance
- Oversee production line operations to meet daily, weekly and monthly output targets
- Monitor and enforce quality control standards throughout the manufacturing process
- Troubleshoot equipment and process issues, coordinating with maintenance and engineering as needed
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste
- Train new employees on production procedures, equipment and safety protocols
- Maintain accurate production records, including output, downtime and quality metrics
- Enforce workplace safety policies and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards
- Communicate production status, issues and needs to plant management
Qualifications
- 5-10 years of hands-on experience working on a production line in a manufacturing environment
- Proven experience leading, supervising or coaching a team
- Deep understanding of manufacturing systems, processes and lean production principles
- Understanding of production capacity planning
- Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings and prints
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with quality control standards and safety regulations (OSHA)
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions, specifications and production schedules
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience with Cin7 CORE a plus
- High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training a plus
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Ability to stand, walk and move throughout a production floor for extended periods
- Ability to bend, reach and perform repetitive tasks
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
