Join Our Team: New Grad LVN Needed in Thousand Oaks Dermatology Practice

Brilliance Dermatology in Thousand Oaks office is expanding, and we are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and detail-oriented New Graduate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team. We offer training in medical and surgical dermatology, providing you with a strong foundation for this position.

Position Overview

• Job Type: Full-time
• Schedule: Monday through Friday (Day shift, no weekends)
• Location: Thousand Oaks, CA (On-site)

Key Responsibilities

· Patient Intake: Assist in patient care, and documentation.

• Clinical Support: Assist providers with standard skin exams, biopsies, and cosmetic treatments.
• Management Track: Shadow current leadership to learn staff scheduling, patient triage, and office workflow optimization.
• Training & Development: Manage current systems and onboard future clinical staff as the practice grows.
• Surgical Assisting: Maintain sterile fields and assist during minor surgical procedures and excisions.
• Provide Patient advice: Provide clear instructions for post-op wound care and patient questions.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Active, unrestricted LVN license in the state of California (New graduates highly encouraged!).
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Strong desire to learn and assist with medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a professional, welcoming demeanor.
• Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn Electronic Health Records (EHR).
• Must be dependable, on time, able to lead and multitask.

Pay: $29.74 - $32.00 per hour
