Brightwork Dental Care is now looking for a dental assistant to join our team.

Full time (4 days). Previous dental experience is preferred, but a great attitude and a strong work ethic are our first priorities. X-ray license required. Job duties would include but not limited to:
- Greeting patients with a warm welcome, ideally by name
- Take and process payments
- Answering various patient questions regarding billing or treatment
- Performing general office duties, such as answering telephones, photocopying, filing and faxing.
- Scheduling patient follow-up or treatment appointments and providing appointment reminders by call or text.
- Creating and presenting treatment plans
- Communicating with dental insurance providers to assistant patients in following up on claims/payment. Preparing patients for dental work.
- Helping with infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up instrument trays, preparing materials, and assisting with dental procedures.
- Assisting dental hygienists with procedures when necessary.
- Providing great patient care.
- Recording treatment information in patient records.
- Taking dental x-rays from dental diagnostics and caring for dental x-ray equipment.
- Collecting and recording medical and dental histories and patient vital signs.
- Providing postoperative instructions as directed by the dentist.
- Caring for dental equipment.
- Taking impressions and pouring models
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
