Brightway Market – Shift Lead
Location: Haines City, FL (1201 Hwy 544, Haines City, FL)
Brightway Market is looking for dependable, customer-focused Shift Leads to help deliver an outstanding experience for our guests. This is a hands-on leadership position that combines cashier responsibilities with leading the team during your shift.
As a Shift Lead, you’ll work closely with the General Manager to keep the store running smoothly while setting the example through excellent customer service and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Operate the cash register and provide exceptional customer service
- Lead the team during assigned shifts
- Open and/or close the store
- Help prepare and serve fresh food while maintaining food safety standards
- Stock shelves, coolers, and displays
- Receive deliveries and assist with inventory counts
- Help place product orders and maintain appropriate inventory levels
- Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and merchandising standards
- Assist with training new team members
- Help monitor product quality, reduce waste, and improve margins
- Resolve customer concerns professionally
- Step in wherever needed to support the team and ensure smooth operations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail, convenience stores, restaurants, or hospitality preferred
- Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable and dependable
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
